Thursday December 20, 2012 beginning at 6:30 PM is our annual holiday and final troop meeting of the year. For the holiday party scouts should plan to bring $15 gifts for the holiday exchange game and each patrol was assigned items to bring for dinner. The troop will be providing pizza. Parents should check with their scouts for information on what to bring (drinks, deserts or paper items).
This week we also learned that the troop has been invited to attend the West Point Camporee in April. Signups will be done at the holiday troop meeting and will be on a first come basis. We currently have 40 slots for youth and adults available to the troop.
The registration cost for the camporee is $25.00 per person. This cost is non-refundable and may be paid by scout account or check at the time you signup. The cost for food is separate and will be determined once the final count and menu has been determined.
