Weekly troop meetings will resume at the Ethel Hoppock Middle School beginning at 7:30 PM.
Below are some reminders since there has not been a meeting in two weeks due to the recent storm power outages and school closures:
- West Point Camporee – Recently email was sent about the West Point Camporee application process and talent release. The scouts have been planning skits for the application and will rehearse those skits and possibly record them if ready. If you previously checked "No" on the BSA Medical Form and want your son to participate in the application video you must complete a new release that will be used exclusively for this purpose.
- Annual Dues are due tonight – We will be completing the yearly troop re-charter process next week and must know the scouts planning to continue in the scouting program next year. This year the annual dues have risen to $75.00. Dues can be paid by scout account or check made payable to Troop 191. As usual this and other scouting related costs can be greatly reduced or even eliminated through participation in fundraising efforts. We still need volunteers to coordinate and drive fundraisers each year.
- Sandy Relief Service Project – Please see email sent on 11/14 for details and items needed for this service project. Items may be brought to the troop meeting tonight and the scouts will prepare for transport.
